How much carpet fits in a dumpster?

If you're planning a relatively small cleaning project for a residential property, you'll likely find that a 10-yard dumpster offers more than adequate space. These bins can hold a total of 10 cubic feet of waste. They are perfect for throwing away unwanted items that have been stored in the attic, basement or garage and for removing any material removed when completing a relatively small kitchen or bathroom remodeling project. These units are 12 feet long, 8 feet wide and 4 feet high.

They can contain a single layer of 1,500 square foot roof shingles or 250 feet of old deck planks or hardwood floors. It will take up more space, but it will fit in a 10-yard container. If the 26% carpet is thicker (I doubt it), then buy a larger container.
